How did the trial end up in NYC (again)?
Wasn't the crash in upstate NY? There are other court districts besides NYC.

shareMaybe the airline is headquartered in NYC.
In the first episode, it was believed that the murder occurred on a boat docked near Manhattan.
It clearly said Bahamas.
shareThank you! I thought I was off my rocker.

Civil trials often end up in the jurisdiction of the entity being sued especially if it is a class action lawsuit since those suing will often be from several different jurisdictions around the country.
shareAbsolutely correct about civil trials, but when they announced the verdict, it was "not guilty". In a civil trial you find for the plaintiff or defendant. Either the writers don't care or are incredibly sloppy. I won't even begin with the aviation related errors. This show has Michael Weatherly and a interesting concept going for it, but the writing is CRAP.
