Lol come on. She's a 20 something in a skull cap, who hacks things, and might as well wear a t-shirt that says "ANGSTY MILLENNIAL!"
Are you not entertained?!

Agreed!
shareI guess they're trying to cover all the bases, but millenials won't watch this.

LOL. Yeah. Her character said something in the pilot that REALLY pissed me off. It was some typical BS from the type.
Oh yeah, she said something REALLY snotty about leaving her ear buds in when her boss asked her to remove them. I wanted to give her a good SMACK...in my mind. Dont get all excited. But that part pissed me off. We are supposed to LIKE her for that?
not!
Perhaps a bit cheap, but who cares; introducing a character like that, saves a lot of explaining.
Stereotype model of a skilled hacker. ;)

I would have done a "HILLARY" (big hammer) on her ear buds.
You would have sent the earbuds classified emails from an unsecured server?
hackers are becoming VERY common place these days
Dont get me wrong. I LIKE edgy, out of the box, grunge dressing little girl hackers. But when the boss says "Get the sht out of your ears, I am talking to you" dont say what she did which was basically "screw u. Deal with it"
That really pissed me off. A lot. What are writers thinking???
Of course I am not angry with the actress or the character. Just the writer(s)
If I was the actress I would have fought hard to change that line to something much better.
I usually could care less about a flippant line in a TV show. But this one line triggered me like a FemiNazi at a Fraternity House party.
You're right. :)
Is it überhaupt possible to study without being a member of a fraternity (in the US)?
I thought a 20 year old is Generation Z, not a Millennial.
shareShe called herself a Millennial. It starts somewhere in the 20's, so I guess her age must be in that range.
As much as she is a trope--take off the hat indoors!--I sorta like her. I'd love to know what she did to that cup of coffee......
FWIW between 18 and 34 - usually living with their parents.
