I know it's unrealistic and silly but I knew what I was getting into.
Yes. But as another person above alluded to, I don't think it is unrealistic to believe that there is a certain amount of psychological manipulation going on trying to win the hearts and minds of juries. HOWEVER, this show does seem to play fast and loose with details of the law/justice system and details of common sense.
Every week I find myself cringing at a detail of law/justice system or detail of common sense that they trample all over...
...
but then again, every week I find myself nevertheless being entertained by the show.
I suppose that's one definition of guilty pleasure. It's silly and unrealistic, yet fun to watch. Now that the team's personality is coming through, it's getting more entertaining.
