Motive

While there are a lot of little things on this show that are unrealistic, I can usually look past those because this is tv. However, it is extremely frustrating to sit through an entire episode and not be told what the killer's motive was. Yeah we can all draw up our own conclusion and assume that maybe the guy was jealous of his friend dating the rich girl, but I want them to tell me the motive. Oh well.

Annnnd they never explained why Richard was sitting on the bench disoriented. Too many loose ends.

reply

Aaaannnd they called it first degree murder which it wasn't...

It was all such a mess. Like they just threw it together.

And even without money, the kid was entitled to have a lawyer provided. "You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you." So if he understood his rights then he could have gotten the public defender there for the interrogation.

reply

True, but they never said he was smart.

"True, but they never said he was smart."

Ha! And clearly he has *never* watched tv.

No, David. No one is happy in a poodle skirt and a sweater set.

Just speculating

The murder was accidental, the killer was probably trying to rape her. The killer was a poor guy who struggled all life, he probably felt powerless and turned to rape because that made him feel powerful. Being daughter of a billionaire was probably a boost to him.

I'm assuming that since the killer was the fiance's friend, he probably went back and slipped his friend some GHB or some kind of date rape drug. You usually don't suspect anything if a friend hands you a glass of water.

So just make up things. Excellent solution. When the guy when we met him at the beginning talking to Rich seemed like nothing of the sort.

And GHB on top of this all as well? Wow.

Pulling things out of the posterior end, American TV over-analysis style. You must be a defender of the Glenn under the dumpster storyline in TWD too, right?

What the hell is your problem. Go look up the definition of the word speculate. I never said that this was fact. Nothing wrong with thinking.

The guy had a sexual assault conviction hence the theory about it being a rape attempt. Some rapist use GHB. A lot of people who were born poor resent those who were born rich. The fiance was acting weird and woke up on a park bench and confused so it isn't improbable to think that he was drugged.
