They didn't say why, but the current theory is that the World Series is expected to hurt the ratings.

with the Cubs being in the world series this year the ratings have been really high. This could be the last game so i imagine they will be even higher.

I hadn't thought of that, but it's possible that they think the World Series would affect tonight's ratings.

Definitely disappointed in the fact that NCIS and Bull were reruns. Didn't watch NCIS/New Orleans, instead watched SHIELD on ABC. In my opinion, without the networks making a serious attempt to show new episodes, every week and in continuity, as much as possible, it's much easier to lose viewers because there are, tons of Internet, DVD, rentals etc. but I will of course, remain loyal to the shows that I have been vested in for years and new ones that are catching my attention.

Thanks. I was trying to figure out why the heck my dvr recorded the first episode again, and then noticed that the title is wrong on the recording and was super confused.

It was odd, though. My Comcast episode description showed new episode information. I guess it was a very last minute change

That's what we need - ridiculous odds, and just a speck of hope that someday, we'll beat it
