Weatherly appearance.
I know this is not PC but Michael needs to drop 30lbs or more and that trendy scruffy beard doesn't look good on him at all. He really looks unwell. Sweaty and pink.

shareI agree with the scruffy beard. When will that not be trendy anymore? It's so sloppy looking. Men wax their chests and some even wax under their arms but they don't shave their face? I don't get it.
shareI like the scruff, just as I liked the scruff worn by Sonny Crockett.
As for his weight - Michael is working on that in a healthy way (no fad, lose weight fast, gain it back diet). There's already a difference between the pilot and the 4th episode of the season.
Dr Jason Bull: Don't give up on people, they're all we've got.
I was going to say, I like the scruff too, it doesn't mean he's lazy or unkempt at all. Males. have. hair. And I don't know many that shave or wax their chests or pits at all...
I guess it matters on the viewer and how picky they are, I think he's fine.
The unshaved face can look good on some but he looks like a posh tramp.
shareI don't like the scruff.
He is supposed to be in a position in which appearance is everything. Anyone seen on the side of the defense should look their best and not to offend anyone.
I have been on multiple juries and I can tell you appearance does matter. And he just looks like he can't be bothered to look good.
🎭All the world is a stage and most of us are desperately unrehearsed.
He's not a lawyer so the real jurors don't (other than the woman from the pilot) don't interact with him. He sits in court as an observer and silent adviser.
The scruff suits the man and for some viewers might help separate Jason Bull from Tony DiNozzo.
Personally, I think Bull looks damn good. (I loved the scruff on Sonny Crockett/Sonny Burdette).

Much prefer the scruff to clean shaven...
Plus it's a way to make a physical change from the old character to the new one.
As far as the 'drop 30 lbs', guess that means he's right on target weight wise given the amount of lbs the camera puts on. Hint - Harmon looks almost too skinny in person yet 'just right' on the tv as Gibbs.
