I Like It..... Anyone Else?

I like Michael Weatherly and his acting and wanted to enjoy this show, but I honestly don't. I don't care for the supporting cast at all, and in general find it unappealing in terms of the concept of jury manipulation/analysis. That latter point might be mitigated if all of the clients were innocent, but that would grow old pretty fast in a TV show, and to perform tasks knowing that the client was guilty to be able to get him/her off kind of makes my stomach turn. I think the show will be a "hit" but possible because NCIS is the lead-in. I wish him well.

I too like Michael Weatherly but seems to me that the premise of the show is kind of shaky(?). That said, I'll continue to watch and hope for the best.

I definitely like it. I think the supporting cast is and will be even more interesting. I've enjoyed it very much. People complain that all the CBS shows are a "formula" and this is to some extent, but it's also a different take on trials and "lawyer" shows and I think MW is doing a nice job with the character.

I will be truthful and say I never watched many episodes of NCIS, but when I did catch an episode here/there, it seemed the writers made his character kind of "goofy" and I always thought Weatherly was an underrated actor and deserved a chance to show a "different character" - something he could show his acting chops and his charm. He is really embracing this character of Dr. Jason Bull (which the show is loosely based on Dr. Phil McGraw) - so far I REALLY LIKE the show a lot and I think the whole cast fits in perfectly, whoever did the casting did a wonderful job. I think everyone should give this show a chance and if you are a fan of Michael Weatherly, as I am; you will NOT be disappointed. He brings it!

I like the show and Michael, but it seems that Michael is again a supporting actor. The defense lawyer is getting more time.
