The season finale was kind of off.

What did you not like about it? Midge has been hiding out in that sleazy burlesque joint the entire season. Lenny Bruce himself recognizes her talent and sees she'll never get anywhere without a little bit of motivation. He more or less challenges her to be famous, to make herself a living legend like he had done at Carnegie Hall. Her staring in wonder at the poster for that talk show implies she's about to make herself famous which sets up season 5 nicely.

Off to the races, I'd say. Can't wait for season 5!

And Season 5 will jump 30 years ahead, instead of showing us how she did it.

I read season 4 was the last, also. I suppose not which is great news!
