When did the experiments occur?
Apparently in 1986, but all of them over 2 days while involving at least 4 kids?
What I wondered was what the purpose of the experiments even was. What were they trying to achieve? And why in that particular way?
You and me both. I finally think I understand the story, the timelines, and the plot turns, but the purpose of the time travelling chair still baffles me.
shareI read somewhere that with the time travelling chair, you can travel to a specific date rather than the 33 year jumps that the time machine and caves do. And that's what happened to Adam's skin - He was using the chair to travel all those times. Noah used children to test to see if the chair would work. He used Mads, (who died and went from 1986 to 2019), Erik, and Yasin died and went to 1953. Then he used Helge - and he survived. It worked for the first time.

I really would've helped if they showed Adam using it, even once.
And maybe the subsequent damage it caused to his skin. I was left wondering, why the old versions of Martha & Claudia don't have this disfigurement. I think this was rather poorly explained.
