I didn't know anything about this movie. I went to the theater one day, saw the poster for it, and went to it a couple days later. I am sure glad I did!
The movie makes me think of a 70's-80's fun B movie. It was very fun and never really slowed down. Never felt that it dragged on at all. I recommend this one.

Sounds good. I really want to see this but it is not in theaters where I live. I'll have to wait for a digital release.
It's funny because the main character is dressed in some old maybe 80's clothes, it seemed odd because we don't see a lot of plain clothes characters, It's mostly uniformed officers because it takes place in a police station.

shareThat I cannot comment on, I never saw that one. But I am sure it draws comparison's to lots of movies, or events. Heck I had someone compare it somewhat to the Alamo. But yeah kind of a "backed into a corner having to fend off bad guys" kind of movie.
shareI'd say definitely check out Assault on Precinct 13. The original 1976 John Carpenter one. The remake is meh.
Also, if you like that kind of setup, The Nest from 2002 is also pretty decent. It's French but don't hold that against it lol.
A black female is the highest ranked bad person, for those who are obsessed with whether any film is too Woke.
