Are we supposed to treat this movie literally or is it more like The Killing of a Scared Deer. This was a pure waste of time.

It's a look inside a traumatized life of someone still trying. Very refreshing, as not everything in life is easy.

I thought the Killing of a Sacred Deer was a better movie. "You Were Never Really Here" is super slow with scenes dragging or making little sense. I felt bored at the end of the movie.
