*SPOILER* Was it not what it appears?
I watched this today and had so many questions.
What's with the plastic bag closet freak outs? What are the traumatic memories about, I could not tell the backstory from the flashbacks.
Then I saw this review on IMDb titled "Not what it appears" which suggests Joe was victimized by his mother, and most of the main plot of this film was his defense mechanism, in his imagination.
Now I don't know if I agree, but it certainly makes me want to review parts of this film.
This is one of those films that, when you finish watching it, you can't quite decide how you feel about it; and you think and think about it. Just because of that, I would have to say it was worth the time to see.
