turbo kid had more of a sense of humor, but was way better made and had likable characters.

It came off to me as a super low rent riff on Fury Road.

it had the fury road look and some cool vehicles and props but couldn't even provide a descent chase scene

I saw Turbo Kid last weekend for the first time. Not what I expected but I really liked the movie.

there is a prequel music video/short film they made that shows what apple was up to before the film. look up no tomorrow and turbo kid on youtube

Turbokid and this movie were homages to the post-Apocalyptic movies from the 80’s.
