All Sandler did in this movie was whine, yell and bitch and that was pretty much it, not a coherent conversation that was had the entire flick....
This was crap, I'd rather watch the Waterboy again that was more Oscarworthy.

We've seen Adam Sandler scream in his comedies. Sandler fans wanted a comedy, but this isn't it. Thus, they didn't get it.
shareWe must have watched different films. The dialogue was one of the best parts, and Sandler created his most interesting character since "Punch-Drunk Love."
Though it was very fast dialogue, often with jarring music in the background (intentionally jarring), so the slower among us probably would not be able to keep up. The whole point was to create a sense of unease and tension throughout the film, and I thought they did a great job of it.
