Good film! (Spoilers)
I liked the self contained story aspect. There were no lame flashbacks. No useless dialogue. Great supporting performances. Elements of the film Locke staring Tom Hardy. As far as fathers who bring their family (his daughter) into their criminal lives plots go, this was brief enough to not be annoying. It was a little unclear what happened with the philly gangster/ wife swap scene. How did the wife get away? The big question for me at the end, was he shot? He had a look on his face like he could have been bleeding out.
I would welcome a sequel, and maybe even a franchise as long as it avoids all the obvious cliches ie “his family gets killed somehow and now he has nothing to lose...”
Tight runtime is always a plus.
