Okay so I watched it by accident but been wanting to watch it. I thought the whole Liam Neeson hates blacks fiasco was so stupid. As I watched this movie I was pleasantly surprised how original, at times, and well casted it was. I really liked the Natives angle and the whole back story. I was so disappointed it bombed because its so good. If anybody hasnt watched it. Give it a shot. You wont be disappointed.
shareJust saw it on Cinemax. I mean to me it was laugh out loud funny! Such a ridiculous plot and so obvious a cash in on Liam Neeson killing bad guys. It's really a satire; however I always like watching Liam Neeson even in junk. He's milking that Taken-killing-bad-guys cartoon thing for everything it's got. I say fine. However I'd like to see him do some serious drama too before he gets too old!
shareI think it does have a few similarities but come on this movie was very unique and really gave it’s cast a shot. Liam wasnt so big in it and who doesnt love watching kick some-ass?
He’s done plenty, now and then. Collins, schilders, batman, to name a few. Ive seen in many, even soft comedies. But come on, who can ever kick ass like him?
A) I really liked it. It wasn't totally funny, it was a quirky mix and just hit that strange middle place, kinda like Fargo or Three Billboards. Very well done.
B) 'Fuck those Indians!' (favorite line)
C) When White Bull was smiling on the mountain with his hands upraised and then begins to cry... that really got to me.
A) Yea but it was also funny. Though the whole movie had a serious premise. I really enjoyed the on going jokes. It brought a balance and blend to the grizzly brutality.
B) There was so many I can't remember. But I did like the Viking and Native connections to the film.
The Elway Marino Line was a big enjoyable surprise.
C) Yea that scene was very memorable. Many people enjoyed that and sympathise in that scene. It had a perfect combination of sadness and tenderness that he held in. I think the whole cast played it perfect. I thought the reservation hotel scene was so hilarious. But there were so many.
It had a lot of pathos in some parts and was hilarious in others...
