already saying it'll eventually intersect with SoA

Makes sense of course, and like they did with Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, but sometimes I feel like they say that just to ensure renewal, because audiences will want to see that intersection.

Series overlap has been going on for decades so it will be expected here as the Mayans existed in the SOA universe. It will probably be anti-climatic compared to Archie Bunker appearing on Maude or Granny appearing on Green Acres or Cousin Goober showing up on Gomer Pyle.

Unlike Better Call Saul it won't take place before/during the events of Sons of Anarchy, it's timeline is set a couple years after. So we may see old faces like Chibs, Tig, and Happy, but we won't be seeing Jax or Clay.

**Spoilers Below Obviously

In the first episode We've already seen Gemma Teller in a flashback, some crow references to Jax Teller/Samcro, and of course the San Bernardino chapter of the Sons of Anarchy lead by Robert Patrick.

Looking forward to even more!

Gemma was the saving grace in the show tonight! One glimpse was better than the entire rest of the episode. Ill give this a chance though. I am loyal that way.

reply

Yeah, that was awesome. I won't be surprised if Darby shows up randomly throughout the show like he did in SoA as well.

reply

Chucky is in episode 2. IIRC near the end of SOA, he kinda got sold to the Mayans to make up for a deal gone wrong.

reply

Yep, lot of interaction with the Sons at the end of this season. Even got to see Chibs. Happy was in much of S2.

reply

It's getting better and better. I knew Ezekiel's vote would be one of the last few moments of the season, and I was right. Season 3 gonna be crazy.
