In no particular order (or are they?), here's stuff that is worth noting although they likely have no significance or meaning at all (or do they?)..

- Comic book guy " Our world is filled with codes , subliminal messages. From Silverlake to the Hollywood Hills."

Silverlake and the Hollywood hills are separated by just one neighbourhood (Los Feliz - the happy ones) . The "world" he refers to then is about three and a half miles or a ten minute drive long.

Mickey Mouse was born in Los Feliz and talked "since 1928" The same year as the silent Janet Gaynor picture, 7th (Sevence) Heaven.

Feel free to add more inconsequential (maybe) trivia and connections.

Songs heard in the movie include "What's The Frequency Kenneth?" by REM and "Your Woman" by White Town

In 1928 there was major reform to the assignment of local radio frequencies in order to reduce interference.

The only speaking parts played by non-white actors that I can remember are the cop at the comic guy's house and the guy who tows Sam's car away. Also the sheriff.

The authors address is 1492. There is a Dollar bill (some currency) in the hiding room with Columbus' face, and at least 3 or4 ships from that era in his house. Paul McCartney style bass at the songwriters mansion. A Rush poster in the room. A red can of spray paint in Sam's bedroom. The code Breakers book (Kubrick's favorite book mentioned in an interview. Eye of Horus in the tomb above the door. Pyramids in the "tomb". Also in the authors hidden room are several mentions of the (fake) moon landings and a photo of Nixon. Same seen in other films. The native american guy may be tied into the columbus theme...as well as pirates.

The writing on the window of the coffee shop. The letter G has an arrow that points at Sam at the beginning and end of the movie. Dog is God spelled backwords...seen in reverse there too.

The double diamond Sam see's in Sarahs empty apt is later on his wall above the front door of his apt at the end of the movie.

Empty dog bed/bowls in the backyard of the drone scene

Lots of Owls.

Getty museum site of alleged underground tunnels and trafficked kids...or other nefarious activities. Allegedly.

Comic book author was in Mulholland Dr. Died in both movies after discussing things.
