Don't waste money on this schlock.

I was going to see a movie that started late, and this one had the best reviews that I saw with a quick check of that other website, so I gave it a shot.

Nope. Ridiculously maudlin, I was laughing out loud at the melodrama and other patrons were getting mad, but what to do? There was one character who reminded me of Oran "Juice" Jones in "Walking in the Rain." The white characters, the Axis of Evil, were all these barbarian faced bikers and an evil skinny Brit and a witchy hillbilly-faced blondie, and the non-white characters were the Alliance of Good and were all "yo yo y'all what we's be doin', les' do dis!" The lead character was annoying and evidently was supposed to have good looks going for her (because they kept showing her skin a lot), but was actually nothing to look at -- she was attractive only in the way of a Sears catalog model. She was supposed to be some kind of Justice Warrior though, but only seemed like an entitled, angry mulatta.

Yeah this movie had a bit of a slow start, then starts to get good, but then just goes dumb.

Kurt Russell's Breakdown is a much more fun adventure and thriller, very atmospheric and immersive compared to this.

The least this black women propaganda movie could've done was have decent narrative - nope.

I thought it wasn't that bad. There are worse movies released this year.
