Donner, Bishop, Kathyrn, Marcy, Grace -- titles of remaining episodes

The titles of the remaining episodes are all named after characters, from season one. Here is the episode cast list: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5651844/epcast?ref_=tt_ql_tv_2

Donner is listed as someone who appeared in episode 1.1, a middleaged guy, played by Jason Gray-Stanford. I don't recognize him, or remember his character. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0337020/

Bishop is played by Gerard Plunkett -- a very good actor, originally from Ireland, whose work I remember from significant roles in Da Vinci's Inquest, and Intelligence. He only appears in this single episode. I predict he won't use his Irish accent in this show. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0687679/

Kathyrn would be Kathyrn McLaren, wife to the FBI agent taken over by the Traveler who leads our team. This episode could focus around her blowing the whistle on the team, perhaps with the help of Carly's baby daddy. Or maybe the Directorate, or bad guys, take her over....

Marcy, of course, is the blond team member. If all the other episodes are named after non-Travelers, why have one based on a traveler?

Grace -- the character of Grace Day, played by Jennifer Spence, appears in ep 3, 4, 8, 11, 12. I don't remember her character, either. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0817780/

Update: Donner is a Traveler who goes renegade when he fails his mission mere seconds after arrival, killing all his team members. He tries to pretend the transfer didn't work. He is either killed with a new Traveler is swapped into the body, or transferred back to the Directorate. Bishop is an experienced Congressman. Mclaren's assignment is ot use a stasis field, so he survives a devastating airliner disaster. Thanks to the stasis field, he does survive, without any trauma, only to have a Traveler take him over, about 20 seconds after he would have died in the crash. No new Travelers arrive in Kathryn, where Kathryn and McLaren's partner search for him, when they believe Phillip is a car thief who highjacked McLaren't car, with him in it. For most of the episode an elite future team employs future medical techniques to repair McLaren's body. Two new Travelers arrive in Marcy, and Marcy's experience of the first ten episodes is erased when they project a version of Marcy's consciousness as of ep 1.1 onto her body.

Note: Dr Delaney, the scientist who made the anti-matter that powered the first xray laser, isn't listed in future episodes -- implying they don't make a second xray laser.

Well, the asteroid is going to hit pretty soon and they made it pretty clear it was a one-shot opportunity to deflect it sufficiently far enough away to have an effect.

Re: Donner

This is an image of Jason Gray Stanford (and Eric Macormic) on set. He's in prison Orange. I don't know if that will help. https://scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/s480x480/13466154_10154124960296885_1570912932425589475_n.jpg?oh=574cb61c7d2cc063b43bbcf2ea0414e9&oe=58C51DF2

Thanks! Sorry, it doesn't help.

I saw a preview today, for the next episode, that showed this guy and McLaren, although, from what he says, he obviously doesn't know the FBI Agent he is talking to is Agent McLaren.

The clip shows him earnestly telling McLaren he has become aware of a conspiracy, of dangerous outsiders. They call themselves Travelers. He doesn't know their goal, but they are everywhere! Why they even have a mole in the FBI! An "Agent McLaren". In the final couple of seconds of the clip, the camera then pans over to a stony faced McLaren.

Even with that clip, I don't remember his role in episode 1.1.

Grace is Trevor's teacher, the student advisor. In earlier eps when he saw Phillip's list of incoming deaths, he said "Oh I know this one!" Probably her.

But more importantly, the synopsis for Marcy eps 11 just came out:

Trevor defies the Director while the team contends with Marcy’s inevitable death.

Nope nope... she's my fav char. in this series. Hope there will be some twist at the end.

In the OP I wrote about the episode entitled "Marcy":

Marcy, of course, is the blond team member. If all the other episodes are named after non-Travelers, why have one based on a traveler?
Subsequently, the characters in the two episodes since t hen, had a new Traveler projected into their consciousness.

One possibility is that they will follow that trend, and episodes "Kathryn" and "Grace" will also have their consciousness taken over by a Traveler.

Congressman Bishop learns that McLaren is an agent from the Future, and McLaren proves it by producing the Deux Ex Machina, excuse me, the future Stasis Device, at the key moment to save his life. I wondered how they planned to handle this. Simple, they always planned to take Bishop over.

Currently, the actors who play Kathryn and Marcy are listed for all the remaining episodes of the season. If the list of cast members of future episodes is to be believed, this suggests the Directorate doesn't order the team to kill Kathryn, even though she knows of the Directorate's existence.

"Marcy" is the season's penultimate episode, episode 1.11. That Traveler was projected into a brain-damaged host, and there have been various hints that the metabolic cost of suppressing her hosts seizures, so she could appear normal, would burn her up, and trigger an early death. In episode 1.9 she told her host's former social worker she was dying. If she wasn't listed in the cast list for episode 1.12, that would suggest she does die in episode 1.11. She is listed, but without being attached to the character Marcy.

When I drafted the original post in this thread the character of Donner was listed as appearing in episode 1.1, but none of us could remember him. He is no longer listed in episode 1.1. Those who assemble these cast lists do make mistakes, and the listing of the actress who plays Marcy in episode 1.12 could be one of them.

Currently, neither Trevor or Phillip are listed for episode 1.12.

Boo. I guess if it really aids the story or if Mackenzie Porter had a limited contract or other roles then fine, but she's great in the show, so it will be a shame if she has to die.
