Before that it was pretty good but that's the one that is a standout so far.
(Of course the next episode, (which I'm on now) they give Kat a magic potion so she forgets about it and use nanobytes to restore him, which actually took away from the plane episode I thought but hopefully these will be important plot points later)

I'm sure when the FBI launches its investigation Kat will be confronted with the hole in her memory, perhaps see an airport security video of herself following MacLaren onto the plane. That mind-wiping serum may depend on the subject not questioning the gap and realizing there's something there to be recovered (i.e. it suppresses access rather than truly destroying the memories). She may eventually start to recall details like the flight attendant telling her husband he's off-mission, before bleeding from her eyes. Then being on the ground and hearing more of that Traveler such-and-such from the others. I have a feeling it will indeed be an important plot point later on.
shareThe reboot showed that not all of the mind is overtaken by the consciousness transfer and that certain base aspects of the individuals personality do in fact remain, whether or not the traveler is aware of that and whether this info has been transmitted back to the future. They clearly overwrote and utilized parts of Marcy's brain where humanity and compassion were based, thus making her more robotic towards David afterwards.

Not necessarily. In the conversation between her and Philip in the car he comments on this and speculates that maybe her 1.0, more vulnerable, version was effected by her knowledge that she is sick and dying. Even in their short time in the present, their circumstances seem to affect their character somewhat. The transfer into another person's body and life is a huge adjustment and is bound to affect their personality. Carly, stuck with an abusive husband that won't leave her alone and growing attachment to the baby is making her more angry and emotional in the latest episodes and Mac that started being quite cold to his present wife, is mellowing considerably towards her.
