Just finished

the whole series... I really like it and can't wait for season 2. Call me a hopeless romantic but I was ticked off when Marcy had to be reset. Other than that, I thought everything else was very well done.

It was really good. I liked it. Talk about a cilff hanger ending though.
shareOne of the most massive cliffhanger I've seen on a tv show. My other favorite is orphan black. :) I really did not like David plus he actually called the cops instead of waiting as suggested by Marcy. He then has to lie but he forgot he's a terrible liar such a dumb guy! I only think she fancued him because she was dying and vulnerable.
shareI really did not like David plus he actually called the cops instead of waiting as suggested by Marcy. He then has to lie but he forgot he's a terrible liar such a dumb guy!I think watching the show, its easy to see things from the travelers point of view, which makes him look kind of dumb or a wimp. Try to think of how you have reacted after what he had to experienced, throughout the season, since she moved in with him. I would consider him extremely courageous for not backing off before. But having a gun pointed at the back of your head and then a dead body in your living room and her just leaving him there, to hope that somehow this will go away, is pushing it. Maybe the writers needed to have this decent, normal character to remind us how problematic the travelers attempts to just fit in, in another person's life, really is. share
I never thought about it like that.
shareYeah, spot on meira-hand. David is not a wimp he is a genuine guy that fiercely defends those he cares for. The fact that he has stuck by Marci with just tattered threads of who or what she is is commendable, most others would have thrown it into the to hard basket or at least demanded answers or else. The fact he is in love with her certainly keeps him holding on.
The travelers have little to no understanding of the 21st, Carly does make mention that she watch some documentaries on Dr. Delaney, but I would say most of their information about the past is limited to dates, times and names and other mission specific items.
"I've been told that we're close", or something to that effect, was heart breaking.
I was ticked off when Marcy had to be reset.
I was ticked off when Marcy had to be reset.I keep having a suspicion that some of the SciFi plot twists that seem not fully thought out in terms of the show "rules", are in fact used in service of character development. In this case it allows us to see very clearly how much even the short time the travelers spent in the 21st has changed them. share
