I've just started watching Travelers, 2 episodes,so its probably not fair for me to compare.But I have to state that Timeless is more fun.
Still Travelers is a good show,with a diverse cast like Timeless.
I like both. The sad thing for me about Timeless is they're getting away from showing how the present has been changed each episode. It's making me less interested in it.
shareTimeless is exactly what you'd expect from a network show = bland melodrama with a few "heartfelt" lines to raise it above pap. It's not a terrible show, but it's indistinguishable from 1000 episodes of any "chase" TV series. The whole premise could be done in a shopping mall. This week, JCPenney, net week, The Gap...OMG!...the price of jeans has changed! Each week, the 'challenge' for the characters is almost identical = how much do we tell people about -THE FUTURE- !!?!?!??
Travelers is much more layered and far-reaching plotwise. The characters are more engaging than the unexplained future and method of travel. We can see how each character's choices affect their living conditions immediately, rather that asking a vague "what if" every episode.
Agreed!
The assassin team being a bunch of old fuddies on a bus was refreshing. This show lords over Timeless.
So...you like Timeless, huh?
