Any word of Season 2 yet?

Netflix is usually pretty quick to renew a lot of its series soon after release. Should we be concerned that there is nothing yet on season 2? Unless I missed it.

This series was a Partnership between Netflix and Showcase (Canada). If it were solely Netflix' decision, a renewal may have been announced already but since Showcase also weighs in, we may not see a renewal until Showcase announces other renewals in the Spring. Of course, I could be completely wrong!

There better be a season 2... and 3.... and 4. This is an amazing series and I know Netflix spends a ton of money on their content at a loss so they're quick to cut a show but I hope they keep this one.

I agree. I compare this to Stargate, also Brad Wright. It had 10 amazing seasons.

Three too many, IMO. But still a great show.

I was surprised how much I liked this series. The show has excellent excellent writing and acting making it a very successful character driven show much in the way Stargate was.

I watched the season in 2 days, I need more!

Thankfully the second season of The Expanse is premiering today.
