Dexter meets House?

I think it might be, "The Sixth Sense" meets "Sybill."

LOL, okay, I can see why you are asking that. I don't mean that anyone is dead.

Spoilers for both the Sixth Sense and maybe for Chance...

What I refer to is the way the audience believes the Bruce Willis character is a "reliable narrator" of the story and they don't find out until the very end that the audience has been misdirected about his point of view. (being that of a dead person's)

In Chance, I think the Hugh Laurie character has multiple personality disorder and that many of the characters he's interacting with are his alters.

kuntext, interesting take on this for certain.

The "Dexter" dot might be because we have someone willing to what it takes to rid the earth of scumbags while holding down a fultime 'normal' job but feel it ends there. This guy "D" adds to the show in a way that is philosophically enriching. He delivers, along with Chance, some of the best lines so far. Great script, story, and the twists are tight as well as the turns.

I am loving this show! Good description. It sure is fun, and way different than House.

I don't get a Dexter vibe at all.
