Chance's Daughter Hiding Something...

I can't quite compute yet what exactly she might be hiding or how she is involved, but I'm getting the distinct sense that she somehow is involved with Blackstone's operation. I know it seems out there but didn't she seem a bit calm when she was returned after being kidnapped? Just spitballing here, but maybe she was hurt by Raymond in some way and is working with Jackie/Jacqueline to take him down? I don't know why she would get her dad involved, maybe she feels resentment toward her father as well and that's part of her motivation? Definitely seems like quite a stretch but there's just something about his daughter I can't quite put my finger on...

I also expected her to be more freaked out, so it seems like she knows more than she's telling her dad. Not sure if she's in cahoots with Blackstone though.

It's all pretty clearly explained and it has nothing to do with Blackstone...

She's got an obsessive disorder like her father

Well easy to say after the finale has aired. LOL. Old news amigo/a.

That said my hypothesis was not in a void--I put it forth knowing she had an obsessive disorder. You don't think having an obsessive disorder could make you more likely to fall into the hands of someone shady yet charistmatic a la blackstone? That's exactly the danger a young girl with such a disorder faces. Hello...

I'm looking forward to them delving into these complexities more in future seasons. It's often pretty easy to telegraph the "surprises" in shows these days (that Jacqueline murdered her female psychiatrist was pretty obvious a couple episodes in)--therefore sometimes I come up with somewhat wilder speculations in the hopes that I could truly catch something that most people would likely overlook. This will usually conclude as it did in this case--with the theory turning out to be false.

Cheers.
