According to my sister, who loves the series (I can't get it at the moment), the actress is DEBRA MOONEY!! She had a reoccurring role in Everwood playing "Edna Harper". She is quite an accomplished character actor. Check-out her extensive IMDb.com filmography -- you'll see some nice surprises!!
