Enjoying this at the moment, but two things bother me
1. The windows between worlds, especially in Will's Oxford: characters seem to enter the same window yet end up in different worlds, especially Boreal and Coulter, and there seems to be no consistency between the windows and the worlds either side of them. Is that a goof, or are there more windows in Will's Oxford?
2. Mary Malone's computer, the Cave: why is it that when the sparkles on the monitor screen talk to her, the sparkles seem to emanate beyond the confines of the screen? It just spoils the illusion of ordinary computer equipment doing that, or is Malone hallucinating the sparkles beyond the screen?
