Stephen King = Idiot
Why do people watch this shit? It's like The Avengers of horror. Spoon fed bs with cheap unoriginal scares. So dumb.

shareLoved this movie and loved the book.
shareYES!...MY WIFE AND I BOTH ENJOYED THE FLICK AD SHE HATES EVERYTHING...TE BOOK WAS AWESOME AS WELL.
shareI was actually impressed that the movie managed to stay true to the essence of the book while being a sequel to the movie which was no easy feat since they were so different.
shareI WAS PRETTY STOKED WHEN THE OVERLOOK MADE ITS COMEBACK.
shareSame. There's a director's cut that's a little over 3 hours that I'm looking forward to checking out. I watched some behind the scenes stuff on the movie on Youtube and it was also pretty cool.
Also fun fact I just learned, Danny Lloyd (the actor who played Danny in The Shining) had a cameo as a spectator at the little league baseball game.
OOH..TIME FOR A REWATCH.
shareFinally, someone else.
shareI think you just hate fun.
shareYou're breaking my heart Chip.
I loved this movie and I won't hear a bad word about King, he's a genius.
I liked the book quite a bit but Stephen King is definitely a racist. There's that.
sharehe's also into child orgies so there's that too
shareYes. he. IS.
shareOh you guys.
What's a little defamation between friends? Isn't it startling how he's such a raging racist and pedophile monster who abuses children en masse and yet he's still allowed to publish books and not one news service has reported on these crimes you attribute to him.
This wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that he hates Trump's guts and is quite vocal about it, would it? Oh no, silly me, that would be really pathetic of you guys to defame an innocent man on a political basis. You both seem so much nicer than that. No really.
Yes, Stephen King is an idiot. I enjoyed his books as a teenager, and I find that this is about the right level of "mental development" required for his work. But I kept reading him on and off until I finally read the final books of the Dark Tower series, where he not only WROTE HIMSELF INTO THE FUCKING STORY, but ostensibly made the entire series of books ABOUT HIMSELF. I was like: holy shit, am I ever dumb for getting suckered by this shit. Never read anything else by him again and never will.
Doctor Sleep is about on the same level. If you are looking for the meaning of it all, it's probably about Stephen King himself on some metaphoric level.
