How was she planning to unlock the chains?
It was just luck the Russian guy was there with the keys, but what was her plan? How was she going to free him?

She was going to disintegrate the iron using an intricate series of hashtags.

This is something she potentially overlooked at the moment with the little time she had. Or perhaps she did have a plan to set him free from the chains only Hoffstetler luckily showed up before she could - unsuccessfully? - try anything. She must’ve known where to find a spare set
Anyway, glad to see the film getting all this well-deserved acclaim and numerous awards. Backlash from certain people is always inevitable, but I’m not concerned with what others found to be superior and what not. This film appealed to me in every single aspect. Superb and beautiful filmmaking.
You're actually looking for logic in this sick and disgusting fantasy? Seriously???

She could waltz in and out of high security facility like it was no bodies business.... she must hav had the highest clearance, like all cleaning staff apparently. So in our disbelieve let us say she just knew where a set of these keys were. In a box hanging on the wall perhaps?
shareShe was going to use boiled eggs apparently.
