Flashback exist only because of hot Smurf whose attractiveness wears off pretty fast. We don't need the whole Pope origins crap. The main plot is lame, too. Two heists with the exact same dramaturgical setup. Just for once I'd like to see a heist gone wrong.
With Baz and Smurf gone, the show has run its course.
I'm a bit behind the times, just watching Season 5 now. I don't mind it except for the whole Pope thing. That storyline where he kidnapped the woman's kid and gave her money to go to Canada was completely unrealistic and stupid. I live in Vancouver, BC, it's one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in. That wad of cash he handed her wouldn't last a week here and with no friends or contacts here she'd end up homeless on the streets or a prostitute in the Downtown Eastside in no time. I've never taken the train from Washington to Vancouver, but I doubt what he said about no checkpoints is true. They may not check passengers disembarking in Vancouver but I'm sure they probably have to go through customs in Seattle, Bellingham or the border at Blaine.

we are now in the final season I will predict that this next heist has to go wrong. I am sure something big is gonna happen and someone is gonna be killed off. if that doesn't happen this final season would be pointless
I am gonna predict Pope is gonna get caught finally for Catherine murder the setup is in place now with that.
Darren or Chris will be killed. probably Chris. and the last few eps will be seen with Darren and jay. and Jay probably ending up being the only one with a good ending. if they end this on a happy ending it would be ridiculous
