If Smurf was a male would a male pedophile dad be allowed on TV?

Not one media critic seems to condemn the sexual overtones Smurf has with her adult sons. Smurf is disgusting and a pervert and pedophile. Yet because Smurf is female people think the character is just edgy. If this was the reverse, a male character a dad having sexual overtones with his daughters wouldn't there be a huge outcry from television viewers? Seems like a sexist double standard where a woman can be a pedophile and a pervert yet nobody cares. And then the nerve of feminists to complain and say women are so stereotyped on television.

I think most would agree that Smurf's relationship with her sons is strange, so not sure why you're acting like every viewer is okay with it. Also, I believe the term you are looking for, to describe her behavior, would be "incestuous", since the definition of "pedophile" is "an adult who is sexually attracted to young children", and Smurf's sons are grown men.

We don't know if Smurf had sexual relations with any of her sons, so the entire premise of your post is flawed and inaccurate.

pedophile? really? wrong word.

incest is the correct term and yes, this happens no matter what gender people are.

you have no argument, since we do not know that there is anything going on.

women ARE

stereotyped on television
and in movies. this is a different approach and has nothing to do with feminism. or did you use that word wrongly too?
