J's Photograph: Need answers to 2 questions, please.

In the pilot episode (S1E1) of Animal Kingdom, J tears off a portion of a photo before he tacks it to his headboard. Who is the person in the photo he tears off and what does the writing on the back of the photo say?

We do not know who the man is who is torn off. Earlier J thought that the man in the photo was his father and I think there is a phone number on the back, which, when J called it, turned out to be a dad end.
