unbelievable scenario on military base (spoiler)

Yeah. A kid jumps the fence with a backpack, runs approx half mile across a tarmac filled with chopers, up several flights of steps so he can toss a lighted torch down a vent? No cams,no security. And he's caught by military security and released. I can suspend my belief for TV but this is ridiculous.

Thank You! I was thinking the same thing. This was really bad. No cameras, no one sees the boy from the control tower, or helicopters, etc... And two MP'S not bothering to take his name for a report of a breech, darn poor TV this time...

Yup. Love this show but it was highly unrealistic.

reply

Unrealistic is being nice. It was downright ridiculous. I was a little disappointed because I love this show. However, I am hoping that when they realize the money was switched, they are able to pinpoint a time range of the switch, there is actually a video of J running, and he is brought in for questioning.

reply

Entirely possible. In fact, NCIS could do more damage to the Cody crime family than that Oceanside cop. I'd love it Gibbs would slap J around some.

reply

And Abby would for sure find evidence in that foul truck even with all the meth heads DNA...

reply

This this is in southern California the OSP would work the case. No Gibbs or Abby. Nell & Eric would use traffic camera footage to track the Codys, Callen would go undercover, Sam would drive fast, and there would be a shoot-out. They would somehow connect the Codys to a cartel and terrorism.

HA!

Well, Gibbs would tell Hetty to head slap them all! ;-)

reply

Yeah; this is beginning to smell like Kurt Sutter's been hanging around. Too bad; this was off to a good start.

reply

I agree that using a military base as a score was completely unbelievable. I love this show and it's just about to lose me on this caper. I cannot even start to list the problems the show had with portraying the security on that base, just too numerous. Those boys better take off their clothes and start surfing and getting high again real soon.

reply

I hope ISIS was not watching!

reply

Excellent point!

reply

If ISIS was watching they would have learned jack *beep* Not one thing about that whole scene and the entire caper reflected anything remotely like Camp Pendleton.

reply

That was indeed utterly stupid. Even if the soldiers believed him they did not even check his ID and did not even ask for his name.
