I'm still in shock that he killed her. I think he would have let her go if she hadn't tried seducing him since Smurf made it a point that she leads him on. Even with that said, as strongly as he seemed like loved her, I can't believe killed her. One, her disappearance is only going to make the cops look harder at the cody's, considering her parents died by their hands.

Do you think we will still get more back ground story or flash backs of the Pope/Catherine? From when they were little. What's confusing is how Smurf said that she followed pope around like a puppy & how they were friends first. It would just be interesting to see a different side to Pope.

Also, I wonder if Baz will move in his girlfriend. The way he treated Catherine, I'm surprised he even cares she is missing for real.

I wasn't too shocked. As soon as they were making out, I was expecting him to strangle her with his hands.

And yes, he did love her. Remember the agony in his face/voice/tears as he pressed down on that pillow? He was torn. Also, suffocation by pillow gave him the mercy of not seeing her face.

It just shows how much power Smurf has over her boys. Power over any love the boys have for someone outside their family.

As for her disappearance. She did have a luggage with passport and money. The Codys could just say she took off. In real life, cops would investigate the family more. But this is TV, the cops won't do an investigation past this point, at least not in the next season.

Wishing that heroes, they truly exist (since 2000)

They'll investigate a little bit, but I'm thinking they'll just write it off as she just took off.. The only problem is Baz won't believe it.. He knows she wouldn't just leave her Daughter behind.. TNT has really been doing great with summer programming lately..I'm already upset there's only 10 episodes lol

Yeah in real life if they said she just took off, they will look more into it since it would be obvious proof if she just took off since they can look at airport records and even if she drove somewhere like Mexico they still scan the passport of anyone who enters even if she used a fake ID it would be easy to prove but like you said this is TV so they won't go that far. But I do hate that she got killed off since she was the only female character on the show that I liked.

Same here. I was disappointed as well, as she is the only female character I liked.

Nikki is a typical stupid teenager, Smurf is a psycho, J's teacher is a drug addict informant and now a pedophile, the female detective is not very likeable in my opinion and neither is Lucy.

It's crazy the power she has on them. It's so unsettling. Do you think Pope would have let her go if she hadn't tried leading him on?

I think that she would had a better chance if she wouldn't lied to him. Not sure, if pope would had let her go, but she seducing him and lying to him, in a way, playing him in the same way that smurf does, seal her fate. Pope always knew that she didn't love him.
About their story, shawn said that Pope and Catherine were very close when they grew up, but julia was kick out of the family and Baz stayed, He started to date catherine.

That's a tough thing to determine. I guess it's up to the viewer.
I personally think he came there to kill her, regardless of what she did. He was on a mission.

Her move to seduce him, perhaps, surprised him and just made it that much more difficult.

I still can't get over his sobbing face over her as he killed her. That was brutal and unsettling for me. Pillow suffocating takes a long time to kill someone. In addition to someone you 'love' is unimaginable. 

Yeah he killed her because she was talking to the cops. Whether or not she came on to him wasn't going to change that.

I don't know. I think he kind of wanted to believe her and leave without killing her- until he saw the suitcase.....the passports and the bags of money sealed the deal on everything Smurf had accused her of.
