Katherine,,(Spoiler)

RIP. Glad pope did not kill the little girl.

I think he might have allowed her to run -- until she pushed it.

Because if she was already talking to the cops, what would be the point in killing her when they, the Cody's, would be the only suspects?

Pope murdered her because she tried to play him. Especially after Smurf filled his head.

reply

Smurf is damn good at manipulating these guys.

I will say Andrew is one dangerous sociopath but he seemed to regret killing Catherine.since he did cry so he did love her.

Pope also had a dilemma: He believed Catherine that she did not snitch, but he knew - and told her - that Smurf would never trust her again, and very likely not let it go. And, in the point of view of the Codys, its better she is dead instead being a witness on a trial. Unless her body is found soon, there will be no suspects, at least not immediately. Baz won't tell the police that she is missing, maybe the cop will notice that she does not turn up at the bar anymore.

The male detective is already suspicious, because he knew Lena being there without Cat was odd. And you're right, as soon as he realizes that she's not showing up to work and hasn't picked up her paycheck, he's going to investigate.

reply

Which may lead to some type of relationship/conflict with Baz.

Oh you know that's coming! And he'll look at Pope, too, because he saw Pope at Cat's car, and asked her about him...

reply

Not to mention- now that they lost J as a lead, they might try to enlist Catherine again.

reply

I think the cops will catch him if Baz don't kill him first. It's no way Pope didn't leave some DNA there. Felons in California have to give a DNA sample.
