a very interesting story

growing up just behind these guys, always wondered about their background, noticed even then their willingness, seeming gusto, to make fun of jews which was funny all by itself - they seemed to be lasered in on the 16-25 year old male id, knowing exactly what young people would enjoy riffing on.

i'll never forget the bit they did about salesman with suits & briefcases blowing their customers underneath desks, etc. hilarious subversive stuff. what an experience it must have been writing for the lampoon in the early 70s.

glad this tale was told. forte might be old for the part, but he has such a great sweet delivery, is natively funny. he goes over easy.

again, we see what drugs does to damaged people. lifts them up, crashes them down. what a loss kenney was - i would have loved to see his work mature thru a lifetime.
