Terrible casting decision there. Someone must just think it's funny to have McHale play his former costar. But this is just a dumb meta joke.
shareI have to disagree with you on this one. I think McHale can capture the cockey charm that made Chase such a star in the 70's/80's.
Plus, the time they shared on Community may give him a bit more insight into who Chevy is as a person, what makes him tick, etc.
Well, if anyone would know how much of an a-hole Chevy could be, it would be McHale.
sharethe casting in general seems a bit odd on this all around now that I see some of the rest of the cast has filled out. a lot are a bit too old to be playing the people they've been cast as. I get that Wain wants his buddies in his film but damn.... this is stunt casting personified. Hey, ya know I'm a huge fan of these people (Lampoon people that is) so i hope Wain makes a good film. The cast has me nervous.
