2nd viewing, does not hold up that well

When I first saw it I thought it was about an 8.5/10, I particularly liked the first 1hr and 15 minutes (up to the Masonic Scene) as it seemed to brilliantly show this world of the Osage and the meeting of cultures when the white man came knocking etc... the last 2 hours did dip a bit for me as it became pretty much a drawn out crime procedural, but still overall I thought it was a very good movie, a mid range Scorcese movie.

Just had my second viewing and the novelty of theat first 1 hr and 15 mins has gone and the last 2 hours just really feel so dragged out and slow.

DiCaprio was also really poor acting wisein this, I found him hard to watch really with that stupid frown he was wearing most of the time..., but I rarely like him in anything...(Lily and De Niro were very good though)

I would now give it a 7/10, and is probably lower mid range Scorcese, I don't think I will be rewarching it again in a long time.
