I want to support movies like this, but it's so damn long.

I don't love going to the theater for movies that get near that three hour mark. I just like having the option to take a break.

I did make it through Oppenheimer, though. Maybe I'll see this anyway.

Its proportional. A four hour movie equals 4 episodes back to back of The Sopranos or Breaking Bad. We can binge those with ease. Just transfer the mindset to a movie. However there is no intermission. You have to hold it or miss a scene or two. Ive read that studios like the latter...it makes you have to see the movie twice! In theater or digital or streaming...

My theater no longer has a wait staff that comes to your seat. You have to get up and go out to the lobby to get a refill. I wasn't planning to see it anyway with Dicrapio in it.

It should be mandatory for movies pushing 3 hours. Especially a movie like this, which will appeal more to an older audience!

Same thing happened with avatar. I watched it in the cinema and never saw so many people walk around during the movie, going to the bathroom. They knew it was 3 hours long so they didn't even attempt to wait for the end, they just went.
