Another pretty house comedy

What's a pretty house comedy? Ray Romano really defined the idea and honed it to perfection. Dense but lovable Husband, sharp wife a pure descendant of Alice Kramden, the mother god of all seeing all knowing wives, who put up with childish husbands that they seem to have nothing in common with. living in pretty non-lived in houses. Ramono is the perfect example, a Husband so defective that he finds a way to tape over the wives precious Wedding day video. I have always thought the perfect titles for shows like would be:"Nothing in common." The kids are thrown in, but they hardly count because they really have no personalities or true feeling, they are pure window dressing. The houses all look like something out of a Pier 21 commercial, with dishes nobody will ever eat off, or mugs nobody will ever drink out of. I think the only point of shows like this is updating things every generation, a lot has changed since "Everybody loves Raymond." We have had a whole technology revolution-the smart phone revolution, so everything is changed and even the simplest Raymond plot line can go off in a thousand different directions.
Alice and Ralph Kramden lived in a completely Isolated world, totally anonymous, cut off, little specs in a big world, today the world is connected via cell phones and the internet, with a spy camera on every corner but the humanity and the problems of daily human life and the battle of the sexes will never change, the human comedy we call life continues on as will forever.
It's a harmless comedy, and a bit of fun.

Harmless, yet not funny.
