shareYeah, it really wasn't written well. It is badically End of Watch, but with a human and Orc cop. Thry never explain how long the fantasy characters and magic have been around. It's set in South Central L.A. but if fantasy creatures have been around for hundreds or thousands of years, the world would be a totally different place. At least if they went the Alien Nation route and had them come from a dying world to our world and how they had to adapt, it would make more sense. It's just lazy, gimmicky writing.

My guess is that you just are mad at Landis becuse you like The force awakens or something and is therefore trying to take out your dissapointment at his script.
