The spooky version of A Christmas Carol

Spoilers...

While not exact, I think this had many similarities to Christmas Carol in that a "ghost" or "guide" takes him through three stories that make him reflect upon himself and his way of living and choices he has made.

Obviously there are a lot of differences but a fair bit of similarities as well... Besides the fact that there aren't really any ghosts.

The ghosts are the truths we hide behind the false memories we invent to make up our lives.

We are, all of us, trapped in a hospital bed of sorts. When you finally see the truth, you cannot but feel the loss, regret, shame, of having spent so long having lied to yourself. Our ghosts come to haunt us.
