The Batman 66 tv show. The tone of Deadpool is surreal. The X-Men movies were not. Deadool (along with a few other stupid characters) was one reason why I stopped reading Marvel Comics. A character breaking the fourth wall and that knows he's a comic book character takes any dramatic weight of a story and sucks it right out....I hope they never try to bring Deadpool into the MCU.
