An idea for a post credits scene...

Since nostalgia has really been a thing lately, especially for Marvel movies (see soundtracks for Deadpool 1 & 2, GOTG, etc....how great would it be to get Matthew Broderick....to recreate his Ferris Beuller post-credits scene from 32 years ago! After allll the credits, have the post-credits scene be him (as Ferris) walking up that same hallway, in that same bathrobe, look square into the camera, and say something like: "You really waited THIS long for a post-credits scene? Losers."

Doing the Bueller thing all over again would’ve been uninspiring... especially with the original star of the 80’s classic showing up. But that’s just me. Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing Deadpool do it again instead. Or hey, DP could suddenly come walking up the hallway while Broderick is being Bueller and then Bueller turns around, sees DP, and DP quickly gets rid of the guy. Now I definitely like that idea better! :D

But as expected, DP2 had plenty of pop culture throwbacks and references anyway. I was a bit surprised there wasn’t anything after the entire credits rolled. The mid-credits scenes, though, were perfect. Epic!

Ha! I like your idea much better. That would be epic. I think the original Ferris Bueller post credits scene was the first (that I can recall). Or at least....the only mainstream one most people can remember as being first. Now, they're commonplace. But that one kinda launched the concept. It would be a lot of fun if a comic book movie (especially Deadpool) did a send-up which included Matthew Broderick.
