Peter?

I'm sorry, but who was Peter?? Is that a reference I don't get? I why does he skydive like such a badass????

Theories suggest he might be character from the comics named “Pete Wisdom” who does, in fact, have powers. He also happens to be a British secret agent who was a member of the X-Force. Moreover, the actor playing Peter has a Twitter dedicated to the character and his name is under “Peter W.” so... Peter could very well turn out to be a vastly different character from what we’ve seen in the trailer. Despite this, some aren’t convinced this will turn out to be case.

Personally, I truly hope Peter is exactly the same way in the film as he is in the trailer. A power-less, super pleasant and pretty regular joe joining a superhero team just because he saw an ad does sound insanely suspicious, even for a Deadpool movie. But man, that is hilarious! It’s a joke that can really pay off.

After all, Peter does looks like a great, amusing character who can have his shining moments simply by being his average self (potentially be pretty useful). I’m telling you, no matter how many times I watch it, the last part of the trailer cracks me up each time.

Yeah, I agree. They really should keep it as in the trailer. Funniest joke by far. Let's hope they don't spoil it.

From what I know of Pete Wisdom, he doesn't seem anything like him. Wisdom is all sarcastic and brooding.

Pete Wisdom is absolutely nothing like the Peter from the trailers, although the Peter persona could all be an act. Is it unlikely? Maybe, but they can always do something unexpected.

Anyways, I think Peter being who he appears to be in the trailer will work for the best. The guy has already become a fan-favorite, and it’s easy to see why.

Secret powers or not, the scenes with Peter were the best part of the last trailer. It would be cool if he ends up being an average Joe who just wants to be a part of the action. Can't wait to see DP2!
