How did Keith know where Chantal was in the last episode? He got to the house not too long after Dory and friends got there, so he must've found out very quickly?

I literally just watched the last two eps - I think he followed them. Dory was acting all shady, he didn't believe the bit about Miami, and her hurry to leave probably seemed suspicious to him as well.

If it wasn't that, then he could have gotten the address from Agnes Cho - Dory actually mentioned her name to him. And he probably knew of her already from his investigation.

Oh right, yeah maybe he went to Agnes. I don't think he followed them because when he came into the house, he was screaming for Chantal.

Keith is a private dick,..Not really sure why he was following Dory if he was really looking for Chantal because of reward money
Hate the season finale showed that he wasn't just some crazy stalker who saw Dory outside a bodega
Only say this because it would really work better if you could add the situation to Drew's list of danger as why to not go running around like Nancy&the Hardy Boys

I think he probably saw through Dorys attempt to throw him off track and just followed her instead. I think having Kieth not be a crazy stalker makes his death way more powerful and I think the list of dangers of Nacy Drewin it up are still pretty full regardless.

But it would make the reason why he's not good ? at his job as a P.I.more plausible to have Keith be a crazy stalker who DOESN'T know the truth and Chantal's family ? at all. Plus blowing off the case because she MIGHT be dead ? isn't that great of detective work in a story

I think he started following Dory after the vigil. He commented about her making an impression. I think after that, then he began tracking her bc she announced she saw Chantal.

My guess is Keith picked up on Dory's aloofness and watched her leave his apartment in the SUV.
I remember seeing a human shadow at the window above. He probably got hold of Agnes thereafter.
Or else contacted Agnes at some point prior and was aware of Chantal's whereabouts when Dory came to interrogate him. So he might have left around the same time explaining the timing of his arrival.

having watched v mars many more times than i prob should have. .. i figured that he had put a tracking device on dory or her phone at some point him being a devious p.i and all.

Keith didn't follow them. People are forgetting that Dory and co stopped along the highway at one point for quite a while so she could argue with Drew, and I don't think Keith would have just hung out waiting for them to get back in the car and go. Also, Keith had no way of knowing they were actually driving to where they thought Chantal was. For those reasons, I think Keith followed up with Agnes (since Dory said her name) and she just gave him the address like she did Dory, and then he might have taken a plane to Canada, which would explain how he got there fairly quickly if he didn't leave right after them.

Also it showed Dorey & Co. sleeping and waking up by the side of the road. So that gave Keith time to catch up
