Did I miss something? Vin Diesel, and by extension Dom, is white mixed with something else, but he passes for white. Elsa was played by a Spanish actress, as in Spain, Europe, white. It's been a little while since I saw Fast 8 and 9, but I could've sworn the baby was white-ish back then too. What happened? Did he get a hell of a sun tan or something?

shareNo, John Cena plays a character, Jacob, who is Dom's brother in the Wild Speed films Jet Break and Fire Boost.
He is not Vin Diesel's real life brother.
However, in the context of this thread, Jacob - as well as Mia - being Dom's blood relatives probably doesn't aid in any way the plausibility of why Dom's kid is darker than both Dom and Elena.

shareI still don't get how Elena could be the mother anyways. If she is, that means she was pregnant in Furious 7 when her and Hobbs got blown out of that building. Surely the pregnancy would never survive taking a fall that deep. But even as, she would have made sure the hospital checked her all out and they never did. She was actually waiting in Hobbs room before Dom showed up.

So what's the timeline between the movies? Maybe not that long to be fair - The Stathamnator goes directly after the gang in 7 as a result of Owen Shaw being hospitalised at the end of 6, so it's basically a straight continuation.
Therefore she may only be a few weeks pregnant - if even that - when they get blown out that window. And then the rock did cushion her blow by landing with his back down on to the car they crashed on to. So I don't know - maybe it is possible?
Honestly I completely forgot Dom had some son and eventually thought he was raising some adopted boy or some boy who is his dead friend’s one.
I barely remember any plot from Fast movies. It was weird when boy called him Dad and Letty - Mom.
