Wtf has happened with this show? Completely off the rails

Season 4 is just an absolute train wreck. So much stuff makes no sense.

Why does Sally wear a wig in the future? Why not just dye her hair...People on the run do it in gas station bathrooms (sure, it's a trope, but hey). She's had 8 years...

I feel like you could fast forward 95% of episode 5 until the last 10 seconds and have not really missed anything.

I'm starting to wonder if AI is writing the season 5 scripts.

yeah, it's been 10 years and she never decided to just dye her hair or change the style,
they're also calling each other by their real names way too casually for having a whole new identity for 10 years,
i actually had to look up who is writing this season because it's like night and day compared to the first two seasons, but i don't know what's gotten into bill hader except maybe that he decided to torpedo his own TV show

But the ratings for S4 are high aren't they? Almost make me wanna binge the whole thing.

I can't really argue with anyone that says it's gone off the rails, because it's definitely gone off the rails. Personally I enjoy that about it. The first season is pretty much what you'd expect from the pitch. Hitman wants to become an actor. By season 3 and definitely into 4 it's more and more strange and surreal. It's another show that has clearly been influenced by Twin Peaks.

it stopped making sense in season two, when Barry got sent to kill detective Loache's ex's husband. I'm never trusting imdb's ratings again! I quit watching.
