I like the show, but the Muslim thing is getting too repeatable

I think it's a card, that have been played too many times in the history of "24". I still like where the show is heading, but it's just a little too similar.

Think about it: The only seasons where Muslims were not a part of the terrorplot, were in seasons 1, 3, 5, and 7. Everyone else have been about radicalized Muslim terrorist. Why always continue down that road?

I think the problem for me, is that Muslims already have a big lack of image in the eyes of the world, especially now that Trump is President.
I want to make it clear, that I am not a racist. I'm not one of the people saying *beep* Islam", "They're the reason for all the death and destruction in the world", since I sincerely believe that the Muslim community is getting too much hate.

Too many people around the globe, can't seem to tell the difference between Islam and radicalized Islam, and it's a motherfücking shame.

I just wished "24" would go a different way this time around. I can't really get my head around the fact, that some actors still wan't to portray Muslims as bad people and/or terrorists, since I consider the world in 2017 to be a big easy-manipulative world, where a lot of people are buying whatever is being sold to them regarding Muslim and Islam in general.

Maybe Legacy will follow Live Another Day's footsteps, where the first threat is neutralized in episode 8-9'ish, and something new happens and will take over.
I just don't hope they continue with this too long.

Because it's true to life, maybe?

Russia or China or Germany perhaps.

I think it's just playing off the fear of the current boogeyman. I agree it is getting old, I rolled my eyes when I saw it was Muslims.

You'll roll your eyes more when you see it was Muslim but playing the innocent like how they did it with Homeland. In any case its up with the current events of reality where all you see is mooselambs doing most of the evil doings on a daily basis. They just do it in more barbaric ways than most of the civilized world.

I think the show relies on its viewers having enough discernment to realize a TV show shouldn't affect how we deal with Muslims in our actual lives. If someone honestly feels the need to discriminate against Muslims because they viewed 24, they shouldn't be watching TV, period.

Not at all.
